Today let's put a few questions to one of our favorite vendors at the Seaside Farmers Market. Veronica and her husband began attending the Seaside Farmer's Market last February (2011) and have been a regular ever since.

How long have you lived in the area and where are you from?
My husband and I moved to Niceville in September of 2010 when he was relocated by his company.  I am originally from South Florida, but I have lived all over Florida

This a a new addition and a hot ticket this year for the SoWal-sponsored, Seaide School Half Marathon and 5K Run. It's a Friday night pre-race party not to be missed, featuring Dread Clampitt from 7:00-10:00pm.

John Scanlan picked 1/11/11 to open his new venture, Bow Wow Meow Pet Company, hoping the unique date would be good for business. Now in his second year, he notes he’s had at least one sale every day. For someone open seven days a week and closed only for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New year's Day, that’s quite an accomplishment.

This week I’d like to share some of the construction details for the 2012 Coastal Living Ultimate Designer Beach House. The house is designed to take advantage of the entire lot, one of the largest in Rosemary Beach. The designer, Lew Oliver, and the builder, Stan Benecki, decided on a relaxed Caribbean design that focuses the home around a large private courtyard and pool.
