Wine lovers love wine come rain or come shine! The first-ever 30A Wine Festival was held March 3 and 4, 2012 in Alys Beach, Florida.

The first Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K was in 2003. It has grown from a race with a few hundred runners to a race with more than 3000 participants.

Dead Clampitt live at Caliza Pool in Alys Beach was a great a new addition and a hot ticket this year for the SoWal-sponsored, Seaide School Half Marathon and 5K Run. It was a Friday night pre-race party not to be missed, featuring Dread Clampitt, food, drink, and silent and live auctions to raise money for the Seaside Neighborhood School.

Montigo Avenue Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at Montigo Avenue and is but a trail through coastal dune scrub leading to the top of a dune overlooking the gulf.

Undeveloped beach access about 200 yards south of US 98 in Inlet Beach at the end of South Walton Lakeshore Drive. This was a convenient place to launch a boat but driving on the beach at this access has been discontinued. It's a short walk to Lake Powell and Camp Helen State Park.

Palms of Dune Allen Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at the intersection with Allen Loop Drive East about 1/4 mile west of the Scenic 393 intersection at Gulf Place. It is on the east side of Palms of Dune Allen condominiums and has no parking.

Scenic 395 Beach Access is at the intersection of Scenic 30A and Scenic 395, across from Seagrove market Cafe.

Holly Beach Access is on Scenic 30A at Holly Street, one block east of the Scenic 395 intersection.

Live Oak Access is just a few blocks east of Seaside on Scenic 30A at Live Oak Street, 2 blocks west of the Scenic 395 intersection.
