November 19, 2014 by SoWal Staff
One of our favorite holiday events is right around the corner! The 7th annual Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market kicks off the season Saturday, November 29 from 5-9 p.m. in WaterColor’s Town Center, the perfect backdrop for a beautiful evening.
The Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market holiday extravaganza is complete with falling snow, a horse-drawn carriage, a bonfire with s’mores, pictures with Santa Claus, the lighting of the tree, live music, and beautiful luminary lighting throughout the WaterColor community.
The Winter Market will feature a variety of vendors selling holiday gift ideas of all kinds, including: clothing and accessories, candies, soaps and bath products, soy candles, jewelry, art of all genres, pastries and desserts, children’s books, delicious food bites and savory drinks, Christmas ornaments, driftwood wreaths and trees, photography, custom embroidery and more.
WaterColor is a popular South Walton coastal resort and beach town that eases into its natural surroundings with a uniquely Southern simplicity and grace. It cultivates a true sense of a place that is timeless, authentic and welcoming for everyone.
Nestled between Western Lake and the neighboring town of Seaside, WaterColor is one of a handful of planned “New Urban” communities that define Scenic 30A. The picturesque neighborhoods and storefronts integrate with our beautiful natural landscape. Elegant homes line the beach next to the stately WaterColor Inn, and residential streets fan out into the beautiful coastal forest of pine trees and palmetto.
WaterColor's Town Center is a lively area that hosts events year round and will provide the backdrop for this year's Old Florida Holiday and Winter Market. Make this family-friendly event a tradition that will be talked about for years to come! The Market is free and open to the public, so be sure to bring out the whole family to enjoy the sights, smells and tastes of the season.
