Independence Day festivities were postponed all along the coast due to heavy rain on July 4th this year, so The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin has plans for a big celebration this Sunday evening, July 7! Baytowne is big on fireworks on Tuesday evenings throughout the year. But, the 4th of July display is even more spectacular so everyone is looking forward to ending the holiday weekend with a bang this Sunday!

Allow the artist within your child to thrive at the Bayou Arts Center! This summer, the Cultural Arts Alliance will host youth workshops in its lovely studio space at Hogtown Bayou, located at 105 Hogtown Bayou Lane in Santa Rosa Beach. Workshop activities include, but are not limited to, drawing, printmaking, painting, and creating books. In what has become a two-day star studded event, the forces of generosity were in full play at this spring’s successful Chi Chi Miguel Throwdown. Guests raised more than $825,000 for local charities along the Gulf Coast, a significant 56% increase over last year’s funds raised.
