Chain of Lakes Canoe/Kayak Tour

Join guide Karl Renelt on the Chain of Lakes canoe/kayak tour, JUL 25 from 9-11:30am.

Chain of Lakes is a beautiful slough off the Choctawhatchee River on the East side near the SR20 bridge. Ecology is similar to the Choctawhatchee River, but without strong currents. Birding opportunities are common, and the scenery is stunning. Discussions will vary, but recent local history, Native American history, history of the Choctawhatchee River as a commerce route, and natural history of the area are fair game.
