The St. Joe Company has announced plans to build a Watersound Town Center to include a Publix and additional commercial space in SoWal's east end to open summer 2021.

Watersound Farmers Market Happens Every Saturday
The Watersound Town Center is growing rapidly. It is quickly becoming the center of life on the eastern end of SoWal and is buzzing with new businesses, events, and activities. Construction of a 48,000sf Publix has begun and several new buildings are complete.
On Saturday, October 2nd a new town center tradition begins with the debut of Watersound Farmers Market with local foods, produce, arts & crafts under the new events pavilion along with food trucks in a park like setting with fountains.

New Stores Set To Open at Grand Boulevard
Making its Northwest Florida debut in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin is Arhaus Studio, the service-first concept store extension of national furniture and home design retailer, Arhaus, opening late summer 2021 at the South Walton mixed-use Center. Back in 1986, Bob and Linda White would sometimes wonder if their idea of starting a bookstore at Seaside was such a good idea. Fast forward to 2016 and any doubters have long since become believers as Sundog Books clips right along. The couple, surrounded by customers, employees and their latest Sundog dog “Glover,” celebrated their 30th year in business Saturday, April 30, 2016…the day fittingly coincided with Independent Bookstore Day.
