Red Fish Taco has Happy Hour Every Hour

August 10, 2018 by Audrey Johnson

Red Fish Taco is where the tequila flows like water and the Tecate comes in a frosty can.

On Scenic 30A at the main intersection in Blue Mountain Beach, the tasty taqueria in Redfish Village offers a quick, casual, and approachable chef-driven menu with quality ingredients. And did we mention they have Happy Hour every hour?

"While staying true to our culinary roots, we wanted to offer a menu that families can enjoy while enjoying the beach, a bike ride or a casual dinner at the beach,” says Owner Chef Jim Richard. "Fast, fresh and casual al fresco style tacos and margaritas."

Obvs, their most popular items are the delicious tacos. Grilled Avocado Salad with Blackened Shrimp provides some variety. And it may sound kind of silly, but their Corn Tortilla Chips are amazing. They’re fried fresh and tossed in a secret Spiced Salt. Each chip is hot and perfectly spiced for your queso or salsa.

Sip on $2 Tecate in the can, $5 wine, and $5 tequila shots available all day, every day. Sit under a bright umbrella on the patio and enjoy a few with friends.

“We do love Tequila at Red Fish Taco and feature several quality tequilas,” says General Manager Bob Kunkel. “We use Don Julio in our top shelf Stinky Rita. We also have Patron and Casa Noble.”

Red Fish Taco sits right next door to sister restaurant Trebeaché  and shares the same premium ingredients from the kitchen.

“We support as many local farms and purveyors as possible. We are a scratch kitchen and anything going out is made in house,” says Bob.

Red Fish Taco can even feed your tribe, whether four people or forty. The kitchen prepares large to-go orders ready for pick up within short time frames.

“Depending on how large the order is, we can adjust pretty quickly on the fly,” says Bob. “Challenge us with a gigantic order!”

Other popular menu items include fresh lemon hummus, house-made salsa, Gulf-shrimp queso, seafood tacos, and vegetarian street tacos. The grilled avocados, fresh frozen margaritas, cold craft and imported beers, along with sodas round out the beverage menu. Red Fish Village has ample free parking and taco-loving dogs are welcome outside. Check out the Red Fish Taco menu on Facebook, and tag your Instagram photos @redfishtaco.
