Parents looking for a truly inspiring setting for their children to develop creativity, art skills and an appreciation for nature and the visual arts need look no further than the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center located at 4956 State Hwy. 20 East in Freeport, Florida. The Biophilia Center is hosting Abrakadoodle-Northwest Florida for an impressive array of affordable, nature-themed camp programs for children ages 5-12. Summer camps kick-off June 5, with weekly sessions each Wednesday through July 31 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for a cost of $35 per student, per camp session.

“The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center really is the perfect setting for our artful nature adventures,” commented Erin Bakker, Executive Director of Abrakadoodle-NWF. “Summer is such a great time for kids to unleash their creative potential, and our art program is designed to spark imaginations while teaching new art skills, a visual arts vocabulary, art history, as well as an appreciation for nature.”

Individual discovery, skill-building and fun are built into each Abrakadoodle camp experience. Please note that campers should bring a sack lunch and drink. Each camp is unique and includes hours of joyful creation with take-home artwork to enjoy. Specific sessions include:
