Summer Events and Activities The Village of Baytowne Wharf is the hub of activity with dozens of shopping, dining and family-fun options. Enjoy a wonderful lineup of weekly events.     

• Sunday Cinema - Enjoy a movie on the Events Plaza lawn, 8pm.  
• HydroFlight Mondays - enjoy shows from fly-board extraordinaire Ben Merrell over the lagoon, 7pm.
• Boomin’ Tuesdays - family fun, and fireworks including lawn games and inflatables, capped off by fireworks over the lagoon at 9:15 p.m.
• Wednesday Night Concert Series - bring a blanket to the Village lawn for live music under the stars, 7-9pm. Get the lineup.

Memorial Day Weekend – May 23-25
Live music begins Saturday and lasts all weekend long. Enjoy bands in the Village 7-9 p.m. each night. Children’s activities will be featured 6-9 p.m. on Sunday night, and then the Village will light up the sky above the lagoon with a patriotic fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. On Monday, the Village will host a Memorial Day program right before sunset, presented by Sandestin veterans, including a special performance.
 
Sandestin Luau – May 26-Sept. 1
The spirit of the Hawaiian Islands has arrived on the Emerald Coast. Join the weekly Sandestin Hawaiian Luau feasts Tuesday evenings all summer long at Baytowne Marina. This feast features authentic Hawaiian Luau cuisine, family-friendly fun including live music, limbo contests, and bonfires all capped off with amazing fireworks display over Choctawhatchee Bay. 13th Annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic – June 17-21
Ranked 5th Richest Tournament in the world by Marlin Magazine, sanctioned by the World Billfish Series and part of the International Game Fish Association Off-shore circuit this event gives serious angling teams their shot at winning a huge pay-off while sponsors. With cash categories for dolphin, tuna, and wahoo as well as individual angler trophies, fishermen have a multitude of ways to stake their claim in Destin fishing tournament history. A treasure trove of family fun includes live entertainment and activities for the kids all weekend long at Baytowne Marina and the Village of Baytowne Wharf.
 
Red, White and Baytowne - July 4
Enjoy a day of fun in the sun, an evening that lights up the sky and family activities. The Village will have kids' crafts, face painting, balloon sculpting, live music and a 4th of July fireworks celebration at 9:15 p.m.
 
29th Annual Sandestin Triathlon - August 22
The Sandestin Triathlon will lure more than 800 participants for a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin’s beach and bayside community.
