Executive Chef Erik Kellison has been working in the restaurant business since the age of 14 and honed his skills along the way to eventually become the sous chef at George’s in Alys Beach.

Loving life at George's led to coming in early to treat the staff to a handmade, loving breakfast. The varied and delicious breakfast time quickly caught the attention of George’s owner Christy Spell Terry.

SoWal Summer Time Fishin' Finally

After a very long and cool Spring it's finally summer here at the beach!

The water and air temps are great, everybody's swimming and until today the weather and Gulf have been just perfect for fishing. The professional liars known as weathermen did it again this week... After forecasting doom and gloom all week while it has been clam, sunny and beautiful they called for today to be nice and calm.... naturally it has squalled several times and the Gulf is sloppy choppy.

As a certified, professional dog trainer, Nancy Brown knows a thing or two about her furry friends.

After graduating from the Animal Behavior College in Santa Clara, California, she worked with various dog-owning clients who, for one reason or another, expressed a need to find a home for their dogs. She then worked with animal rescue operations and saw that many animals were simply being regurgitated through the system.
