Sandestin Wine Festival Adds Southern Charm, a Special Dash of Personality and Cooking Expertise with Author & Restaurateur Paula Deen April 2013
The Sandestin Wine Festival at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, one of the most treasured traditions in the South, today announced that internationally known food personality, author and restaurateur Paula Deen will be featured at its April 2013 event.
One extraordinary day a year, Harbor Docks turns in their famous seafood menu for a Thanksgiving Day feast, an 18 year tradition to benefit Okaloosa Habitat for Humanity and Destin Harvest.
Friends and family, locals and tourists alike, will gather at the restaurant for this unforgettable event on Thursday, November 22, Thanksgiving Day from 11am till 7pm. Harbor Docks is located at 538 Highway 98 East in the heart of Destin.
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is starting this holiday season with a special sparkling event. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will be lit with holiday décor and cheer for “Sparkling Wines and Holiday Lights” presented by the Sandestin Wine Festival, on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 4-7 p.m.
This will mark the eighteenth year Habitat for Humanity Okaloosa will coordinate volunteers to act as wait staff to serve Thanksgiving dinner to locals and tourists at Harbor Docks in Destin. The annual Thanksgiving event has become a welcomed tradition to families along the Emerald Coast both as guests and volunteers.

The featured speakers will be Robert and Daryl Davis, the founders of Seaside. The Davis’ will speak about how they sold the idea of Seaside from a PR perspective.
