Fall Events & Pumpkin Patch at Camp Helen State Park

The Friends of Camp Helen pumpkin patch is open 7 days a week, offering pumpkins for sale and great photo opps from 9am-5pm through October 31 or until sold out.

This year, Saturdays in the Patch will feature live lusic, Bay County Storytellers, PCB Mosquito, cake walks inside the historic Lodge, and more! Weekly raffle prizes include a bicycle from Good Pedals, a basket from Blue Giraffe and more! Food will be available for purchase in the park on Saturdays as well.

Protecting Florida’s Coast Film & Discussion at Idyll Hounds Sep 22

In collaboration with Healthy Gulf, 350 Pensacola, and Climate Together Pensacola, Idyll Hounds Brewing Company will host Protecting Florida’s Coast, an evening of documentary films and discussion about the latest plans for offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and the threat to Florida’s coast and beaches.

Beginning at 7PM on Thursday, September 22, the four short films highlight grassroots movements around Gulf oil drilling, impacts from the 2010 BP oil disaster and the revolution in clean energy.

SoWal International Coastal Cleanup Sep 17

The Walton County Tourism Department, along with the Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles, will once again host an International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) day on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9AM – 11AM.

Both residents and visitors are encouraged to participate. Volunteer Beach Ambassador teams will be hosting teams at five South Walton Regional Beach Accesses listed below.

Stinky's Bait Shack Live Music Fundraiser Aug 18

Songwriters Paul Childers and Duke Bardwell headline Tim Jackson’s Songwriters Performance Series Live at Stinky's Bait Shack on Thursday, August 18th to raise funds and awareness for the Point Washington Medical Clinic (PWMC). The event, scheduled to take place from 6:30 - 10 p.m. at Stinky’s Bait Shack on County Highway 30A, is presented by McNeese Title with additional support from Ocean Reef Resorts.
