ArtsQuest Fine Arts & Music Festival at Grand Boulevard May 8-10

ArtsQuest, a fine arts festival produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and presented by Visit South Walton and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin reveals Amanda Bennett as the Featured Festival Artist. The 27th annual festival, a Mother’s Day weekend tradition, is scheduled for May 8-10, in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin’s Town Center.
 

30A St Patrick's Day Parade & Festival at Gulf Place Mar 14

The 8th Annual 30A St Patrick's Day Parade and Festival will take place on Saturday, March 14 in the color filled beach town of Gulf Place. The local parade along Scenic 30A will collide with the day's celebration in the Gulf Place amphitheater. Festivities will include Celtic rock bands, activities for the whole family (including pups), and even an Irish wedding for one lucky couple. Everyone's Irish for a day!

26th Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival Feb 13-14

The sixth annual 30A Songwriters Festival, set for Jan. 16-18, 2015 features performances from esteemed artists Graham Nash, Indigo Girls, Leon Russell, Jason Isbell, Shawn Mullins, Rodney Crowell, Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek), Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket). Also confirmed are Jeffrey Steele, Chely Wright, Bobby Bare Jr., Steve Poltz, Angaleena Presley, Jesse Harris, Mary Gauthier, Hayes Carll, Bob Schneider, Ellis Paul, Allison Moorer, Deana Carter, Luther Dickinson (from Mississippi Allstars) with Amy LaVere and Will Sexton, Peter Karp & Sue Foley and David Ryan Harris.

Escape to Create Celebrates 24th Season of Artists and Performances

Seaside’s Escape To Create (E2C) artist residency launches its 24th season with the arrival of eight artists selected from an international pool of applicants for the renowned creative retreat. During their residency artists, authors, filmmakers, playwrights, and musicians will bring a little magic to the South Walton community.
